Since the 30th of August, Goma Radio Station, in Luanshya, has allocated two days a week where priesthood leaders and public affairs representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are encouraged to share, teach, and discuss two topics: Self-Reliance on Tuesdays and For the Strength of Youth on Thursdays. The community discussion allows common values that will help listeners improve the overall strength of their families and their economic situations. The Church's manual on self-reliance and The For the Strenght Pamplet which discusses many topics important to the youth of today, are used as the topics of discussion.
Some of the topics discussed thus far have been; Dating, education and dress and appearance,
Panelists to date have included Albert Kashita, Michael Chama, presenter Howard Mumbi, Stephen Kanta, and Mercy Kanyesha. The Ndola District's ecclesiastical leader, President Cretus Kapato, also participated in the program on 15th September 2016, discussing the Strength of the Youth on “Dressing and Appearance”. There was feedback from the community who asked questions and shared comments.
